Marisei helps people search the web without second-guessing every link. We put a trust assessment in front of search results, so only destinations that pass our checks ever reach your screen.
Our mission
The web is full of useful information, but not every result is safe to follow. Our mission is to make search trustworthy by default: retrieve the best results from the open web, assess each destination for signs of trust or risk, and show only the ones that pass.
We believe search should be private, transparent and fail-closed. If we are not sure a site is safe, we would rather leave it out than expose you to it.
How the score works
Each website is scored against Sapher's proprietary algorithms and AI models to determine its level of trust.
Secure connection
Sites that serve pages over HTTPS with a valid certificate earn a strong positive signal. Insecure or broken connections are penalised.
Stays on its own address
We check that a site does not redirect visitors away from the domain they expected. Unexpected redirects reduce trust.
Transparent details
Pages that publish privacy, terms, contact and business information score higher. Hidden or missing details are a warning sign.
Warning-sign patterns
Look-alike spellings, throwaway suffixes, excessive hyphens, punycode tricks and phishing keywords all lower the score.
The destination website has been checked and is considered trusted. However, any links or redirects you click after visiting that website have not been checked.
Why trust matters
A single bad link can lead to phishing, malware or misinformation. Most search engines rank results by relevance; Sapher adds a trust layer so relevance is not the only signal you rely on.
Fail-closed by design
If a site cannot be assessed, or its score does not pass the threshold, it is removed rather than shown with a warning label.
Privacy-first search
Your queries are not tied to your identity, and your search history is not stored in readable form on our servers.
Administrator-verified allowlist
A small set of critical sites can bypass scoring because the operator has already verified them. Everything else is screened live.
