1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Marisei ("the Service"), a trust-filtered search engine operated by Sapher Pte Ltd (UEN 202441420R), a company incorporated in Singapore. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Marisei provides web, image, video and map search, together with AI-generated answers. Before results are shown, each destination website is assessed against Sapher's trust scoring. Sites that cannot be verified, fail the trust assessment, or appear compromised are withheld from the results. A small Sapher-managed allowlist of critical sites may bypass scoring because those sites are continuously verified.

Trust scores, pass marks and verdicts are produced by proprietary Sapher algorithms and are provided for your information only. They are not a guarantee that any website is safe, accurate, or suitable for your purposes.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law.
• Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, its trust scoring systems, or underlying infrastructure.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect results, trust scores, or other data from the Service by automated means without our written permission.
• Misrepresent the Service's trust verdicts or scores, or present them as an endorsement or warranty of any third-party website.
• Interfere with other users' access to the Service.

4. Third-party content and links

Search results link to websites operated by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party sites, even where those sites have passed our trust screening. A passing trust score reflects an automated assessment at a point in time and can change without notice. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

5. AI answers

AI-generated answers are summaries based on verified search results and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. They are provided for convenience only and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. You should verify important information against the original sources.

6. Trust submissions

If you submit a website for trust review, you confirm the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submitting a site does not guarantee it will be added to the trusted list; all decisions are made by Sapher at its discretion.

7. Intellectual property

The Marisei and Sapher names, logos, and the design and operation of the Service are the property of Sapher Pte Ltd or its licensors. Third-party content shown in search results (titles, snippets, thumbnails) remains the property of its respective owners.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty that results will be complete, accurate, or free from unsafe sites. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sapher Pte Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from your interaction with any third-party website reached through it.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may update these terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service.
