How trust filtering works
When you search on Marisei, we gather candidate results the same way any search engine does, and then do something most engines skip: we check where each link actually goes before you see it. Every destination is validated by Sapher's trust technology, and only the sites that pass are listed. Web pages, images, videos, local businesses and product listings all go through the same screening.
The check looks at signals a careful person would look for themselves: whether the connection is secure and the certificate is valid, whether the site keeps visitors on the address they expected instead of redirecting them elsewhere, whether it publishes real contact, privacy and business details, and whether its domain shows the look-alike spellings, throwaway suffixes or phishing keywords typical of impersonation. And thats just a start. Marisei uses Sapher's smart technology and AI to carry out extra checks, helping protect you from scams and fraud.
Why we would rather show fewer results
Marisei is fail-closed. If a site cannot be assessed, or its score does not clear the threshold, it is left out entirely rather than shown with a warning badge that is easy to click past. That means result lists are sometimes shorter than you would see elsewhere. It also means the links in front of you have all been through the same check, so you do not have to judge each one yourself before clicking.
Private by default
Searches are not tied to an identity and queries are not kept in readable form, so there is no profile of you building up in the background and no search history to leak. You can set your region and language for more relevant local results without signing in or creating an account.
What you can search for
Ask a question and get an AI-written answer with screened sources beneath it, or switch to web pages, images, videos, maps and shopping. Local searches show nearby businesses on a map with their details; shopping searches link to real product pages with prices and availability where they can be read from the store itself.
